FCC documents out LED View Cover for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7

For those who plan on investing in the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 when it launches next month, you might want to protect that investment by shelling out for a case. Based on some FCC documents, it would appear that one option for Galaxy Note 7 buyers will be an LED View Cover. Available for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, this Samsung manufactured case allows you to see certain information when the protective cover is closed, thanks to an LED array that appears on the front of the case.

The LED View Cover cases for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge are priced at $69.99. But since the Galaxy Note 7 will sport a larger sized display and body, the case for the phablet should be priced higher. We could see the LED View Cover priced in a range of $79.99 to $89.99 for the device.

The FCC document reveals that the size of the LED array on the case for the Galaxy Note 7 will be 9 x 17. The model number will be EF-NN930. We should learn the exact pricing and availability details on August 2nd, when Samsung's latest high-end phablet is made official.
