Ever wanted to run Android on your iPhone?
Have you ever wanted to run Android on your iPhone? The question of why one would need to run Android when they have iPhone OS aside, it turns out one talented user has managed to get the open-source OS up and running on his cold Apple iPhone 2G. Most of the important stuff seems to be working fine, like the browser and the music player, although there are still some bugs to be dealt with. What we find significantly cooler (from a development point of view) is the fact the hack actually lets you choose which OS you would like to run, when starting the phone. Pretty neat, right? It gives you an idea of the great potential there is in such independent devs.

Hit "play" to see the Android-running iPhone in action!

And just in case you lack the skills to get both iPhone OS and Android running on a single handset, but definitely want one of them, here's an article that should help you make a better choice.
