Essential Phone in white now available for purchase in the U.S.

If you've been holding out on buying the Essential Phone because it wasn't available in white, then it's time to reconsider your decision. The device that was supposed to revolutionize the smartphone industry is finally available in white flavor.
In case you already reserved the white Essential Phone, then you should receive an email from the company telling you that you can now purchase it via Essential Store, Amazon, and Best Buy. Just like the black version, it costs $699, but this one comes with white accessories (USB cable, headphone jack adapter and fast charger).
Essential announced last week that it plans to send out letters for those who reserve the white version of its smartphone by the end of the week. However, because of the holiday in China, it was forced to delay it for a few more days.
On a side note, Essential plans to launch two additional colors for its smartphone – Ocean Depths and Stellar Grey – but they are still in development. Since the Essential Phone is entirely made of ceramic, obtaining other colors than black or white is quite difficult due to off-gassing.
It's a complex chemical process that's very hard to master in order to allow for mass production, so it's probably not even sure that Essential will be able to pull this off.

Really wish the Essentials Phone got the better deal, Andy Rubin should have cut Tim Cook below the knees with a phone $300/$400 less expensive than the iPhone X...

One of the main reason that holding me back on getting the Essential Phone would be none other than the Stock Android. Now don't get me a wrong, I Love Stock Android, but I LOVE Pure Android even more, basically the Stock Android on the Essential lack of any stand out, yes I do know that they are trying to minimized the modification and thus offer a lack free Android experience, but it’s also mean that its lack of uniqueness. I like the way Nokia, Motorola and Oneplus approach on Stock Android, Nokia had a little modification for the blue color scheme and little touch up on the icon, while Motorola modified a tiny bit on the lock screen together with the icon and add on with some extra moto functionality, while Oneplus try to make their OxygenOS as close as the Stock Android, but still add a lot of useful functionality where it won't separate them self too much from Stock Android. Basically, Essential has none of this, they was just a barebones Android, heck even Google has little touch up here and there on their Pixel line to differentiate them self with Stock Android. Plus we won't get the latest update from Essential, if update is the first thing I came to mind, I would rather getting the Pixel line.

I won't to like this phone so much, my hope is that they fix all of it's problems since they are pretty much software based and by the time they do the price is something I don't mind paying.

They did the pricing right, I just wish everything else was more polished out of the box. :/ I don't hate the essential phone it just needs fixing.
