AT&T is now offering the budget-priced Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) for $179.99 from AT&T. You can also use the carrier's Next EIP and pay $6 a month over 30 months. And if you purchase a Samsung handset using Next, you're entitled to buy the Samsung Gear S3 frontier smartwatch for $49.99 on contract. This is the version of the Gear S3 that enables you to make phone calls, even if your handset was left miles away at home.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) comes with a 5-inch display carrying a 720 x 1280 HD resolution. The Snapdragon 425 chipset is under the hood, featuring a Samsung Exynos 7 Quad (7570) chipset. 1.5GB of RAM is inside along with 16GB of expandable internal storage (which actually gives the user 10GB of space). There is a 256GB capacity microSD slot available for those seeking additional storage. A 5MP camera graces the back of the handset, and a 2MP selfie shooter can be found on the front of the unit. Keeping the lights on is a 2600mAh battery, and Android 7.0 is pre-installed.

You might want to take a chill pill, smoke a bowl, or drink a beer and relax before stress puts you in the hospital. Maybe try some meditation? Either way, regardless of what you think, I think it's impressive how good phones have become for under $200. Or do you think it should rival the S8 in specs?

This device is redundant and pointless indeed. I have the last year's J3 and according to the speculated specs, mine's superior in every sense except the OS (which this ones not that up to date either) and the memory. After all this time Samsung didn't even updated the OS of mine and I'm still stuck on 5.1, it would make more sense to update the already existing one rather than slightly changing the design and put a ridiculous price tag on it.
