Dual-SIM Samsung Galaxy Note 8 goes on sale in the US for $890, unofficially

It's highly unlikely that Samsung will launch a dual-SIM version of the Galaxy Note 8 in the United States. But that doesn't mean that the phone will not be brought in the country through more or less unofficial channels.

So, if you treasure dual-SIM smartphones over the single SIM once, then you'll be pleased to know the dual-SIM Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is now available for purchase in the US.

There are some caveats though like the fact that this is an international model that will only work on GSM carriers in the US. Also, you can only buy the Gold and Gray colors since Black and Blue are “out of stock.”

Price-wise, the dual-SIM Galaxy Note 8 is slightly cheaper than the single SIM model that's up for purchase at all major carriers in the country. If you have the money, you can pick this one up for $890 right now via eBay.

Aside from the fact that it comes with an Exynos 8890 chipset instead of the Snapdragon 835, there are no differences between the single and dual-SIM versions.

For those with poor attention span or just general lack of enthusiasm for reading the whole article: Will this work with x/y/z carrier? A. Yes, if it's a GSM carrier. Is this the Snapdragon or the Exynos? A. This is the Exynos variant. Does dual sim and micro-SD work simultaneously? A. No, since it's a hybrid slot. It's an either or scenario, but you get the choice. Note: there is a hack to make both work, but that requires skill with a razor blade. Difference between Snapdragon and Exynos Note 8? A. Exynos has slightly better battery life(standby) and benches a bit better. They are mostly equal. The Exynos also comes with a better DAC for better headphone output through the jack.

There will be sources soon, but just google about Wolfson DAC in Exynos devices. It has been there for years. I can't post links since I'm new here. Just google about Wolfson DAC on Galaxy s8/s8+.
