Dell Streak 10 Pro officially launches in China so you can "Work Smart. Play Hard."
Literally coming down to the wire, the Dell Streak 10 Pro manages to chime in on time as previously rumored seeing that it’s officially launching over in China starting today – and the timing couldn’t have been any better. In fact, it was only yesterday when we received our very first glimpse of the 10-inch Honeycomb flavored tablet in the wild, and then all of a sudden today, we’re getting word about its official release.

Fortunately, we’re also finally getting concrete word in regards to specs for this latest Honeycomb tablet that aims to strengthen the needs of business and consumer home users simultaneously – albeit, its specs line up to what we’ve been seeing of late.  Specifically, it features a 10.1” display with a resolution of 1280 x 800, 5-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 1GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 1GB RAM, 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR, 16GB of internal storage, USB port, SD card slot, supports 1080p video output, and Android 3.1 Gingerbread.

In terms of design, it follows the same path trodden by other previous Honeycomb tablets with its conventional approach – however, it’s rather difficult to deduce its overall size from the images provided so far. Regardless of that, it’s sporting a price of RMB 2,999 over in China, which converts over to a reasonable $461. Although its pricing isn’t mind-bending, it’s still nevertheless nice to see it positioned at an affordable spot.

Again, there is no word if the Dell Streak 10 Pro will launch in other markets besides China, but if it manages to garner some success over there, we may potentially see it branch out down the road – but until then, all eyes are on China for now.
