The conditions of the deal/s may have changed since the initial publishing of this post.

The Moto G4 is one of the smartphones that Motorola will not upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo. However, the one-year-old smartphone will continue to receive security patches at least until the end of 2018.

The Nougat-powered Moto G4 is once again on sale in the United States for the lower price to date. For a limited time, B&H offers the smartphone for just $110, which is about 40% less than the phone's usual retail price.

More importantly, B&H sells the unlocked version of the Moto G4, which is fully compatible with GSM and select CDMA carriers in the United States. Keep in mind that if you plan on using it on a CDMA network, you will need to confirm with the carrier that the phone will work on their network.

The unlocked Moto G4 16GB is available at a discounted price in either black and white color. Also, the 32GB model is on sale as well for $130, exactly $70 cheaper than MSRP, so you can choose either of the two Moto G4 versions.
