Deal: T-Mobile LG G5 on sale for less than $200, works on all GSM networks

The G5 should have been one of the most innovative flagships launched by LG, but the phone quickly turned into a big disappointment. The “modular” aspect of the LG G5 wasn't as appealing as the South Korean company thought it would, and so the flagship didn't sell that well.

Still, when a flagship drops to less than $200 after just one year, it becomes as interesting as the new high-end smartphones. LG G5 is now on sale for just $199 on eBay, less than 55% off the MRSP.

Even Amazon has the unlocked version of the LG G5 on sale for $249.99, so the eBay deal is even better. It's worth pointing out the eBay seller offers the T-Mobile version of LG G5 (32GB), which means it will only work on GSM carriers in the US like AT&T and MetroPCS.

The smartphone will not work on Verizon and Sprint, so if these are among your favorite carriers, then you should skip the deal. Finally, the T-Mobile LG G5 comes in silver (sorry, no gold) and shipping is free in the US.

@fyah_king. How do you charge your spare batt while your main one is being used? Can't charge the spare while it's outside the phone, right?

There is universal charging for all batteries. It contains 2 contacts: + and -. And it needs only to connect this contacts to battery contacts.

@Arguna. Do you have a link to such a charger? It seems batteries are of different sizes and their contacts are in different places so how can a single charger fit all different batteries?

Can confirm, my cousin has it and he always complains about the battery life. Still a good price though.

G5 is still a solid device. I've been using it as my primary device for months. Biggest issue is the display layers showing burn in during certain viewing.

I think buyspry gimped it with a software unlock rather than a proper unlock. Android pay won't work!
