Copper-gold Sony Xperia Z3 leaks out alongside a curved wearable device

The photos of the Xperia Z3 don’t show its front side, but we’ve seen that several times before anyway. As expected, the new Sony flagship isn’t too different from the Xperia Z2, though it reportedly measures 146.5 x 72.4 x 7.5 mm - which means it’s a tad smaller than the soon-to-be-former flagship (which stands at 146.8 x 73.3 x 8.2 mm). Alongside the copper version, the Z3 will seemingly have white, black, and mint variants.
Earlier today, we told you about a list of alleged Xperia Z3 specs, which includes: a 5.2-inch Triluminos display with 1080 x 1920 pixels and a brightness of up to 600 nits, quad-core 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974-AC) processor, 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable internal memory, and a 20.7 MP rear camera.
Sony's IFA 2014 press event kicks off tomorrow, September 3, when the Z3, Z3 Compact and Z3 Compact Tablet will be officially announced, most probably alongside the SmartBand Talk and SmartWatch 3. We’ll have lots of hands-on photos of all the new Sony devices, so stay tuned!

Uh, don't you mean the glam-aid? Samsung marketing lingo, everybody! Not quite as good as "space-gray" though.

Every time i see a Sony phone i get annoyed by the power button. Sure it's veru distinctive but just doesn't fit at all. It's like a stain on a white shirt not a cherry on top of a cake.

I actually like it a lot. For whatever reason, it really says "Sony" to me.

If the white version is white on the front too, this could be my first Sony phone post the Ericsson era.

Same for me, except that I'm hoping the soda lime green glass is on the front of the green one as well. That would be sublime :)

Don't look too bad actually, quite like it. The Z3 compact red and green colours are quite catchy too, some quality suff from their flagships as of late. What happened to the Z Ultra successor, could really have taken advantage of some powerful hardware with that 6.5 plus inch screen!

Maybe because the glass looks and feels more premium than polycarbonate back cover on the S5 and the durable tempered glass also more expensive. I know more expensive does not make the glass better than plastic, especially in terms of durability against impact. But when it comes to the luxury items like high end smartphone most people I know prefer the expensive materials.

Elements like 'looks and feels' are subjective. 'But when it comes to the luxury items like high end smartphone most people I know prefer the expensive materials.' If that was the case then GS5, GS4 and GS3 wouldn't have been the highest selling android phones on the market.
