Check out the official BlackBerry KEYone product video

The BlackBerry KEYone is now official. And what screams that there is a new smartphone on the way more than an official product video? The video produced for the BlackBerry KEYone (will there be a KEYtwo?) is designed to grab at two things, your brain and your wallet. After all, if BlackBerry can reach the pleasure center of your brain with this clip, you'll be opening up your wallet to buy the device as soon as it is launched in April.

The BlackBerry KEYone product video starts off with a shot of that gorgeous physical QWERTY keyboard. That is a great idea because this is the feature of the phone that prospective buyers are interested in. Heck, the keyboard is even part of the unit's name. BlackBerry also uses the opportunity to get your juices flowing by telling us about the all day battery life (a BlackBerry record 3505mAh juicer is inside), the strong aluminum body and the impact resistant display. But everything all comes back to the QWERTY keyboard, which offers flick typing, single-letter short cuts, and on-screen navigation.

With Android 7.1 pre-installed and over 1 million Android apps at your disposal, this is not your grandpappy's QWERTY equipped BlackBerry. Click on the product video at the top of the story to see if you too are put under the spell of the new BlackBerry KEYone.

Looks cool. But $550 for snapdragon 625? I mean... come on.

Yup. I think it's dead before it even hits the door. Their last two flagship phones sold poorly because of the price.

Great promo video. I'm glad TCL did they're presentation a day before the rest do theirs. LG's presentation should be good too, but the KEYone is definitely the most interesting Phone debuting at MWC this year IMO.

It really looks nice, but two things bug me. 1) The price. I can get over this, but I think it will severely impact potential success. 2) The camera. They aren't mentioning it at all. The fact that aren't highlighting it, despite being the same hardware as in the Pixel, makes me believe that camera results are going to be bad.

Definitely. This is hardware worth the coverage, considering it fills a market in need of more options.

Hit the nail right on the head, kiko. But haters won't understand and won't see if this way.

Yes. Don't we see a similar amount of articles on Samsung and Apple? ;D

No we don't. Maybe 3 or 4 close together, but not 13 lol

You're blind to the facts if you really believe that. How many articles did we see about the Note 7, or when the iPhone 7 got released? Go look back to around the time when Apple keynotes are going on, or Samsung ones. You'll see the truth for yourself. And what's the problem with them doing so, anyway? This is a hot new phone, and it's a milestone event for BlackBerry/TCL.

Yup, nobody complains or thinks twice about the number of articles when it's a device their interested in. But on a slow weekend and a new device gets announced like this they think PA's favoring Blackberry or any other OEM. In August they'll think this site only favors Sony, then in September it's all about Apple and so on...

So I don't play games and it has the same camera from pixel... it might be a win. Let's see some reviews.
