Capital Pay ad for Apple Pay says mobile payments are in your jeans
A bit more than a week ago, we showed you Bank of America's ad for Apple Pay which was a take off on the opening of the Get Smart spy sendoff from the 1960's. Now, it is Capital One's turn to feature the mobile payment system in its prime time spots. It must have cost the bank a pretty penny, but during American Idol, the ad below was part of the advertising rotation.

The gist of the ad is that with the Apple iPhone 6 or Apple iPhone 6 Plus in your pocket, who needs a wallet? And like the Bank of America ad, we see that Apple Pay is supported by stores selling various items.

If you missed the story, on Saturday we told you that Apple Pay could be making a run for the Canadian border in March. We also expect the tap to pay system to hit the U.K. in the first half of this year.

Right now, Apple Pay is exclusively for U.S. credit card users. You can check out Capital One's ad by clicking on the video below.
