CDMA Hero visits the FCC, Sprint to release U.S. version?
Pins aren't the only things that Sprint might be dropping this fall. The CDMA model of the HTC Hero is visiting the FCC which lends some truth to rumors of a fall season release for the carrier. The device is the first Android model with flash support on the browser and features the HTC Sense UI. Equipped with a 3.2 inch capacitive display (!), this Super Hero is expected to start flying over U.S. skyscrapers in a single bound on October 11th as we have already reported. If that date sounds familiar to you, it is because it is the same rumored launch date for Sprint's release of the Android powered Instinct Q, a story we brought to your attention yesterday.

If both handsets' October 11th release on Sprint pan out, the carrier will have two hot new Android phones hitting the market at the same time. One will have a physical QWERTY keyboard and the other will have a full touchscreen. Are you Sprint fans out there seeing little green robots in your sleep?
