Bugs worked out on the Samsung Rant Maintenance Release 3 update
For those out there still sporting the roughly year old Samsung Rant for Sprint, you should know that an update is available starting today that fixes some bugs. The side-sliding QWERTY phone from Samsung was intended to compete against the LG Rumor phones. Even feature phones can be plagued by a  myriad of software problems that can be troublesome for some using it. The over the air update corrects a  variety of issues that owners have been complaining about. Specifically it fixes the following issues - signing into AOL.com and getting a blank screen, Bluetooth problems with the Motorola 700 series headsets, Software/PRL update notifications, text messages no long becoming corrupted when multiple @ symbols are used, photo storage issues when inserting and removing a memory card, and no freezing or locking up issues when launching the web browser. Seems like a lot with this update, but we'd gather that it  might be the last one.
