You must be a new customer of the mobile operator you choose between AT&T or Verizon. If you're merely upgrading a current account with one of those two mobile operators, you still will get a discount albeit a smaller one. AT&T customers will pay $149.99 for the Z10 while Verizon subscribers can upgrade to the phone for $139.99. Of course, a two-year pact is required in both cases.
