BlackBerry Virtual Expert now includes gyroscope and accelerometer diagnostics
Developed by BlackBerry itself, BlackBerry Virtual Expert is a handy diagnostics app for BlackBerry devices that enables you to check if all components of your smartphone are working as intended. The app is compatible with a wide range of BlackBerry devices and includes various tests for the device's LCD display, keyboard (if any), camera, speaker, loudspeaker, microphone, light sensor, vibrator, LED indicator, slider (if any), and many, many more.

A recent update for the handy app brought several new features and additional tests on board. Now, BlackBerry users can check if their beloved smartphone's gyroscope and accelerometer are functioning correctly. In addition, the HDMI and the USB ports of the device can be put to the test, too. Another useful new feature is the so called Health Screen – it displays a summary of your phone's statistics, such as the current level of the battery, connectivity information, such as signal strength, network operator, the amount of free storage space, location information, etc.

BlackBerry Virtual Expert is free to download and use. The app is compatible with all BlackBerry 10 smartphones. Lots of legacy BlackBerry devices are supported, too.
