BlackBerry Torch 9810 in pristine white is available north of the border via Rogers & Telus
Normally, we tend to see smartphones released with dark colored paint jobs first, and then later on down the road, some handsets get the prestigious opportunity of being blessed with one donning a complete white exterior. Well, that’s what we all saw with the original BlackBerry Torch 9800, but this time around, its successor in the Torch 9810 is already being graced with the pristine white paint job.
Available north of the border courtesy of Rogers and Telus, the BlackBerry Torch 9810 in white is now available for purchase to customers who prefer the standout color. Strangely, the silver and black trim color of the current handset is indeed a departure from the usual shades of grey or black we tend to see.
Thankfully, there isn’t a premium attached to this new color scheme as it retains the same price point found with its silver and black counterpart. Meaning, customers will need to dish out $199.99 to pick it up on a 3-year contract or $549.99 outright.
However, there’s no word if other carriers besides the two mentioned already will be adding the new colored handset to their lineup. Still, we’re certain that more colors will eventually become available down the road – much like what we saw with its predecessor.
