Black HTC One max pictured in Hong Kong
A black colored version of the HTC One max phablet has been posted on HTC's official website in Hong Kong. While the phablet has been available in silver only, a red version of the phone was recently seen in a promotion for a carrier in Taiwan. And now, we have a picture of the 5.9 inch device in yet another color. Considering that the HTC One can be bought in silver, black, red, blue and gold, and that the HTC One mini can be purchased in black, silver and blue, it shouldn't be a surprise to find the HTC One max in different colors.

The HTC One max has been fighting in the stores to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Nokia Lumia 1520. It also offers a fingerprint scanner on the back, underneath the camera. Outside of the fingerprint scanner, the HTC One max is really just an HTC One on steroids.

So far, there has been no official launch of the black or red versions of the HTC One max. The holiday shopping window is rapidly closing, so offering the phablet in new colors seems like something that the manufacturer will do after the holidays to try to spice up demand for the model.
