Bing for Windows Mobile receives a small update - presumably bug fixes
Since Windows Phone 7 is still on track for a release in the fourth quarter, it doesn't necessarily mean that it's not the only thing on their plate for right now. In addition to getting their next generation mobile platform up to speed, they're constantly fine tuning their Bing app for Windows Mobile to bring it up to the same level of where other rival apps are right now. Although the Redmond based company quietly released an update for their Bing app, there was no mention of what specific changes were included with the update. However, one would have to assume that it would include a host of bug fixes to make it run a bit more stable while offering some performance improvements at the same time. Naturally there were probably a decent amount of people happy to finally see the app offer users free turn-by-turn voice navigation similar to what Google Maps Navigation provides for Android users. Still, there is still much work needed in making it compelling enough for most people to switch, but thankfully we can expect Microsoft to continue their focus on this.
