Best Buy is already on board with offering pre-order for the HTC Surround

Have you been checking up all the news surrounding the latest trio of Windows Phone 7 devices headed for AT&T and have already set your eyes on the upcoming HTC Surround? Well, there is some good news for those who will want to get the multimedia centric device on launch day now that Best Buy has started to accept pre-orders for the handset.

If you're planning to bypass the whole contract thing, just be sure to have $549.99 to your name when you place an order for the smartphone online. Conversely, customers who prefer the traditional route of purchasing it with a 2-year contract will only need to shell out $199.99 – which makes sense obviously. Slated to ship on November 8, it'll be interesting to see when handsets will actually begin to arrive at the many front doors of those who place an order now. It's even more interesting when AT&T said that the Samsung Focus will be available on November 8th with the HTC Focus and LG Quantum expected to be available a few weeks later after that.

Regardless, now is the time to get down and dirty if you want to be the first on your block showing Windows Phone 7 in all of its glory.
