Benchmark test reveals specs for the Oppo R7 Plus

On May 20th, Oppo is expected to unveil the Oppo R7 and Oppo R7 Plus. Last week, we showed you a pair of commercials starring the pair, for the Chinese market. While we have had the opportunity to pass along information on the R7, specs for the larger R7 Plus have been hard to find. That is, until today when a GFXBench benchmark test allowed us to finally get an idea of what the "premium" version of the R7 will have in the way of hardware.

According to GFXBench, the Oppo R7 Plus will be equipped with a 5.9-inch, 1080 x 1920 resolution screen. The 64-bit true octa-core MediaTek MT6795 is under the hood. 3GB of RAM is inside along with 32GB of internal storage. The rear camera, which came up as 7MP in the test, is most likely an 8MP shooter. 

We've already seen the fingerprint scanner housed on the back of the unit, and the VOOC rapid charging feature allows the phone to power up for two hours of use with just a five minute charge. The Oppo R7 Plus is expected to feature a "bezel-less" design for its display, similar to what some other Chinese handset manufacturers are using for certain models.
