Beats Powerbeats Pro earphones availability limited to one color at launch

Introduced earlier this month, Beats' Powerbeats Pro earphones will be available for purchase in May for $250. They have already been listed on Apple's online store, but you can't yet place an order.

According to the listing, the Powerbeats Pro earphones should be available in four different colors: black, ivory, moss, and navy. Unfortunately, these color options will be limited to just one at launch, 9to5mac reports.

Apparently, the earphones will be launched in 20 countries next month, but they will only be available in black. Beats plans to release the Powerbeats Pro earphones in additional territories later this summer and fall. Those who don't like the black color will have to wait a couple more months for the other three to arrive in stores.

Truth be told, the ivory/black, navy/gold, and moss/gold colors look slightly better with the accentuated Beats logo, which is not so visible on the all-black model. If that's your opinion as well, you'll have to wait until later this summer to get your favorite Powerbeats Pro earphones.
