Asus is pushing back the release date of the Eee Pad Slider to the fall
Needless to say, some people were probably excited to find the Asus Eee Pad Slider up on Amazon Germany’s web site early last month – alluding to the notion that the tablet’s exact availability would be soon known. However, it looks like the tablet’s release is being delayed further back than what some people might’ve expected.

Although we were given the hint that the Asus Eee Pad Slider would be available “soon,” Asus just recently posted on its Facebook page that they’re moving back its release to sometime in the fall. Moreover, its anticipated fall launch is only going to be seen over in the UK – so it’s anyone’s guess as to when other markets will see it. From the sound of it all, they’re “running a couple of surveys to understand what is important for our customers.”

Naturally, one would think that Asus is a little hesitant about launching the tablet seeing that they’re trying to still gather information at this point. Nevertheless, we’re hoping that they’ll absorb all of the gathered information and tune the tablet accordingly. Regardless, it’s still by far perceived to be one of the more intriguing future Honeycomb tablets.
