Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Lite is a new smartphone that costs $210

Asus has already revealed its most important lineup of smartphones in the second half of the year: the ZenFone 4 series. The company's new portfolio contains six new ZenFone 4 devices that will soon be available for purchase in various markets: ZenFone 4, ZenFone 4 Pro, ZenFone 4 Selfie, ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro, ZenFone 4 Max and ZenFone 4 Max Pro.

However, Asus plans to launch variations of these handsets where it believes the configuration of these ZenFone 4 phones is not suitable. One such device is the Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Lite, which will go on sale in Malaysia, and probably other Asian markets, in September for around $210.

The ZenFone 4 Selfie Lite has a 16-megapixel camera on the back and a similar one on the front side. The smartphone sports a 5.3-inch display with HD (720p) resolution and packs a Snapdragon 425 CPU, 3GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage.

It will be available in both Sunlight Gold or Deepsea Black, and it will most likely ship with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system right out of the box. Unfortunately, there's no telling when and where the ZenFone 4 Selfie Lite will appear except for Malaysia.
