The French website GPS&Co has released the first pictures of the new Asus M930W as well as some of its specifications. The M930W has side-opening clamshell form-factor, which reminds of the Nokia E90 Communicator, with color display and numeric keypad on the front and bigger (still rather small) landscape oriented one and QWERTY keyboard on the inside. Instead of the Symbian S60 used in E90, the Asus will run on Windows Mobile 6, and although the source claims that it is the Professional edition, we believe it is the Standard one, which uses non-touch sensitive displays. This is because of the images on the screen and the typical “Home and Back” buttons on the two keyboards.
According to the source, Asus M930W is a tri-band GSM phone (no 3G) with 3.2-megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, microSDHC slot, a 520 MHz Marvel PXA270M processor, 256 MB ROM and 128 MB RAM. Still, we cannot guarantee that this is truth.
According to the information, the Asus M930W will be available in the beginning of the next year.
