Siri Shortcuts is added to the Apple Store app speeding up the process of pre-ordering the iPhone XR
An update to the Apple Store app will allow users to pre-order the Apple iPhone XR in an eye blink. Pre-orders for the Apple iPhone XR begin on October 19th with the release of the phone taking place a week later. Members of the iPhone Upgrade Program can get pre-approved to buy the iPhone XR on the Apple Store app. While in the process of completing that task on the app, a new red button that says "Add to Siri" will appear. Pressing that button will allow Upgrade Program members to set a custom Siri Shortcuts phrase, like "pre-order my iPhone."

Once pre-orders start on October 19th, iPhone Upgrade Program members opening the App Store app and repeating their custom Siri Shortcuts phrase, will see their pre-approvals for the iPhone XR appear on the screen. Placing the pre-order takes no time at all after that.

The Apple iPhone XR features a 6.1-inch LCD display. While it doesn't offer 3D Touch or a dual camera setup on back, it still comes with the TrueDepth Camera, Face ID, and is powered by the same A12 Bionic SoC that drives the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. It will be available in six different colors (White, Black, Blue, Yellow, Coral, Red) starting at $749 for 64GB, ($37.41/month over 24 months), $799 for 128GB ($39.50/month over 24 months) and $899 for 256GB ($43.66/month over 24 months).

But why did you feel the need to post that, and put lol? You know you didn’t laugh while posting that, and the XR is going to be a huge seller...........despite you not preordering one. Lol...not.

Get real dark. The iPhone XR is most definitely not worth Apples asking price. A low resolution HD+ display, low pixel density, non HDR LCD display, no 3D touch, slower LTE, less ram, single camera, lower water resistance rating, the glass cover the XR is not the same as the XS's. $750 USD, or $1030 CAD for the base 64 GB XR is definitely not worth the asking price, especially when you compare it to other devices that are currently on the market. It's only because Apple hasn't made anything else that is cheaper. So if you want an iOS smartphone, then your only option is to always pay what Apple wants. Bend over and pay up.

Poor little boy! You don’t need to cry out loud if the price is high for you. There ate tons of phones which you think is better than Xr at low price. But if you want iOS then work hard and save money.

How are Android sales so poor? When they sold in total 330 million Android smartphones globally to Apples 44 million iPhones (Gartner). Apple even fell to 3rd spot. Huawei took Apples 2nd place position last quarter. To date Apple has sold 98 million iPhones for the first half of 2018. Android has sold 660 million smartphones for that same first half of 2018. You have to learn what poor sales really are. If Apple actually had competition that made iOS hardware as well, then Apple wouldn't be able to sell that XR for Apples asking price of $750.

Quote: "Android has sold 660 million smartphones for that same first half of 2018" Who is this "Android" manufacturer? What's this Android manufacturers average selling price (ASP)? Where can I buy a phone from this Android Manufacturer? Are you comparing Apples to Apples or Apples to Oranges,... Tomatoes, Potatoes, Grapes, Banana, Kiwi, and Cherries all put together?
