Android 3.1 update is finally available for the Motorola XOOM in Canada

Who knows if we’ll ever find out the exact reasoning behind it all, but the Android 3.1 update for the Motorola XOOM is finally making its way to Canadian owners of the tablet.

Call it a long time coming, especially when it was released in the US way back in June, Motorola XOOM owners in Canada can reap all the benefits that come along with the update – like its scrollable apps listing and resizable widgets. Naturally, we don’t want to jump the gun, but we’re curious to know when we'll see sighting of the Android 3.2 update for the XOOM, which is currently available in the US as well right now.

Naturally, the whole Google buying Motorola could’ve had some influence to the update’s lengthy arrival north of the border, but let’s hope going forward that it happens in a much more reasonable timeframe. They need the love as well!
