Amazing new detailed sketches of Apple's spaceship campus
One of the last plans Steve Jobs set in motion was the plan to build a new Apple campus, based on the original design, it has become known as the "spaceship". Now, highly detailed images from the campus blueprints have leaked out to show some more of the space will look on a more intimate level.

The new building is to be called the "Campus 2", which isn't the most innovative name, but the design of the building more than makes up for that. It will be almost a mile in circumference, and feature solar panels on the entire roof surface. Construction is scheduled to begin before the end of the year.

Yay. Now we're going to have more generations of "Geniuses." Kill me. Nice building, though.

And I still don't understand why some people say "Apple is the best, they got 600.000.000.000$!". Yeah they do, but you won't see any of it. Feast your eyes upon this campus, you built it! Congrats.

WTF are you talking about? Market cap and amount a company has in cash are 2 VERY different things. Market cap is a fickle mistress and can fluctuate wildly, that number could be $500B or $700B tomorrow just based on rumor; cash on hand is like a saving account. Does your savings account fluctuate based on rumor?

I meant it as Apple is the most valueable company and apple fans cheerimg on fact they have the biggest profit margin of any company. They use it as an argument in iOS>android statements. I agree with you, I just expressed myself poorly.

So what I should do if this building raises associations with an religious sect, should I lie and say that it doesn't rise such associations or what?

who's making a big deal about the building other than you Android fanboys? I haven't seen a single comment here of iPhone users making a big deal about the building. "If only they could put this kind of innovation into their products" - this came from an Android user, so he obviously thinks its innovative. I personally think its just a nice looking building And what about all the media attention when Google unveiled its statue of the Android Ice Cream Sandwich....? Its a freaking statue for goodness sake and people gathered around to look and take pictures as if it was the biggest social event ever. Now that's cult-like.

"who's making a big deal about the building other than you Android fanboys?" I don't think that they are making a big deal aout the building, they are just commenting and they have right to do that. "I haven't seen a single comment here of iPhone users making a big deal about the building." Exactly, that's why in my comment #5 is such rhetorical question: "Why customers should care about Apple campus ???" "And what about all the media attention when Google unveiled its statue of the Android Ice Cream Sandwich....?" Then blame media. "Its a freaking statue for goodness sake and people gathered around to look and take pictures as if it was the biggest social event ever." I also don't like it.

This can look nice in pictures but in fact it is impossible to see what the building is about in real world. They should build this on a mountain so people can see it from distance.

Apple comes up with great designs and really plain names. And btw, what exactly is an Apple campus? A university? A big store? Office? Manufacturing factory?

You know if you don't want people to view your company as a cult don't make your headquarters look like a cult building.

iBeam me up Stevie. Big Fruity is a cult. One day their stock, like fakebook, Enron, etc will fall and fall hard. The next iPhoney will be such an epic fail. Meet the new iPhoney, same as the last iPhoney, just taller. iPhoney 4s2.1.1.0 should be the name of this next flop. Big Fruity just lost an LTE battle recently with HTC. If this next iPhoney drops with any LTE, it'll be banned, there are 4 patent holders who have more LTE patents than Big Fruity does and they are waiting to pounce..
