Alleged press render of LG V30 leaks, matches sketch of the 6-inch flagship model

Earlier this morning in Asia, LG sent out a press release relating to the introduction of a 6-inch Plastic OLED FullVision display that it will apparently be using on the LG V30. Thanks to the 18:9 aspect ratio, even though the 6-inch screen tops the 5.7-inch display found on the LG V20, the LG V30 has a smaller body than its predecessor.

You'll note that the phone shows the date of August 31st on the display, which is when the LG V30 is rumored to be unveiled. That is actually the day before the IFA trade show is set to kick off in Berlin on September 1st. The design shows off the thin bezel look that has been in this year, and there are no buttons on the front of the device. The volume rockers can be seen on the left side of the handset. As the rumors suggest, there is no secondary screen this year.

The LG V30 press render seems to match a sketch of the phone recently posted by tipster @OnLeaks. Inside the handset will be a Snapdragon 835 chipset along with 6GB of RAM, and an upgraded Quad-DAC for enhanced audio. There is some talk about Android 8.0 being pre-installed. Other possible features include wireless charging, a dual-rear camera setup, and a rear-facing fingerprint scanner.
