Adobe's Acrobat Reader mobile application has just become more useful with the latest update. With one week ahead of Black Friday, Adobe has decided to offer those who plan on going on a shopping spree the chance to file their receipts much easier.

The new Acrobat Reader application for Android and iOS comes with a completely free Scan tool, which allows users to scan just about any document. Each picture of a receipt that you take can be turned into a PDF, which can be shared or stored on your phone.

In fact, there's a huge array of things that you can turn into PDFs, including documents, whiteboard, form, picture, receipt, or simple notes. The application allows users to scan multiple document pages into a single PDF and reorder as desired.

The developers also state that Acrobat Reader users can now enhance their camera images with improved boundary detection, perspective correction, and text sharpness. These are some extra features that will make your PDFs look much better before storing or sharing them.

More importantly, the new scan tool is very easy to use. You simply point your phone's camera to what you want to capture and the application should do the rest.

It's also worth noting that every picture that you take passes through a complex processing software called Adobe Sensei, a set of intelligent service that's implemented into Adobe Document Cloud (mobile apps included).
