Acer Liquid Metal, tablet, and a curiosly elongated Android device leak in Thailand
The Acer Liquid Metal made a cameo appearance in the summer, in all its aluminum-clad casing and Android 2.2 for an operating system. The handset will feature a 3.6" LCD display with 480x800 pixels of resolution, 512MB RAM/ROM, and Bluetooth 3.0 plus Dolby Mobile speakers to boot.

A camera of unknown resolution can be seen on the back, along with an LED flash. It is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7230 that is present on the T-Mobile G2, which means very good graphics already. The CPU is clocked at 800MHz here as well, instead of 1GHz, to prolong battery life.

The other leaked Android gadget is a tablet, but there are no official (or any other) details yet about it, except that it will be a nine- or ten-incher, and might be available come January. What got our attention here, though, is the third device - an elongated slab, running Froyo, and with what might be a Xenon flash on the back. What do you think about this form factor?
