AT&T starts shipping Nexus 6 pre-orders
One of our loyal readers has sent us his order status page, confirming that the Nexus 6 he pre-ordered from AT&T, has shipped. The AT&T variant of the phone could include the AT&T logo on the back. This was seen on an image of the phone posted on AT&T's web site. Sprint and T-Mobile's site showed the phone without the appropriate carrier logo.
Motorola's stock Android phone is a powerful phablet with a 6-inch screen equipped with resolution of 1440 x 2560. A quad-core 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 CPU is under the hood, with the Adreno 420 GPU handling graphics. 3GB of RAM is on board along with 32GB of native storage. The 13MP camera on back has an aperture of f/2.0 and includes OIS. There is a 2MP front-facing snapper. The 3220mAh battery keeps the lights on, and Android 5.0 is pre-installed on the phone.
Thanks for the tip, Bryan
The skies above the U.S. on Tuesday, were filled with Federal Express jets carrying the Nexus 6 (listed on the manifest as Mr. Six, Kosher meal). If you pre-ordered the device from AT&T, your Nexus 6 could be ready to make the ground portion of its journey to your home, starting tomorrow.
