A new software update for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic

Starting today, a new software update has been released for the first Symbian S60 touchscreen phone, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. The performance of the interface, as well as the download speed should now be faster, and there are also improvements in e-mail handling and searching in the device. Besides, some new features have been added. One of them allows you to take pictures with the camera for video conversations. Another bonus feature is the Mobile Dictionary application. It supports 38 languages and is capable of pronouncing the words thanks to the text-to-speech technology. Last but not least is the possibility to check for updates for your apps, which can be done either manually or automatically.
