Real-life pictures show the exclusive, gold-plated Samsung Galaxy Note Edge
Those who have been closely following our coverage of Galaxy Note Edge coverage have probably stumbled upon several images of a limited, gold-plated edition of Samsung's "edgiest" phone ever. The handset in question was a Vietnam-exclusive one, which has had its side frame, earpiece grill, volume rocker, and rear camera ring covered with a layer of 24K gold.

Back then, we had a pretty limited supply of images, but now we have a richer selection of various pictures that show us this exclusive and more expensive variation of the device. From the looks of it, the edition has scored a new, better-looking retail box, as well as a gold-plated S Pen stylus. However, the home button rim of the device has not been adorned with a similar gold touch, but still keeps its silver finish, which is somewhat unappealing.

Apart from these, the internal components have remained the same, which means that this exclusive luxurious version of the Edge is just as powerful as its mundane counterpart.

Trying really hard to do what? I will be curious to read your response, I mean the S6 hasn't even been released yet.

Some photos look bad, like the gold is exfoliating or something, also the plastic bits

Nice but I'd rather more manufacturer's make better looking cases. It's a $1k phone, I can't imagine using it in the wild without a case.
