2010 LG US National Texting Championship is on the horizon - $100,000 cash prize

Calling all text messaging fanatics out there, your opportunity to show the world who has the fastest fingers in dishing up a mean text message is right around the corner – with a chance to compete on the big stage which will be held in New York City. LG just announced the 2010 LG US National Texting Championship which will pit texters across the nation against one another to ultimately crown a US winner who will be eligible to win up to a $100,000 cash prize and a trip to the grand daddy of texting competitions which will be held in New York City. In addition, the winner will go on to participate in the first-ever LG Text For Good Challenge which will throw an additional $50,000 to the winner's charity of choice. We know thumbs are already itching to show off what kind of skills they have, but there will be plenty of ways to sign up for this competition. The LG Texting Battle television spots will start airing on MTV where texters will have the opportunity to face off against one another by texting game-play phrases to designated short codes.
