Water-resistant Alcatel OneTouch Conquest launched by Boost Mobile, Alcatel Elevate coming soon
Starting this week, Boost Mobile is selling a brand new Android smartphone made by Alcatel. Called OneTouch Conquest, the new handset runs Android 5.0 Lollipop, and is one of the few Alcatel-branded phones to be dust- and water-resistant (IP67-certified).

The Alcatel OneTouch Conquest is offered by Boost for $129.99 off contract, so it's obviously not a high-end smartphone. The handset sports a 5-inch 720p display protected by Dragontrail Glass, and is powered by a quad-core 1.2 GHz processor (probably a Snapdragon 410). Other features include LTE connectivity, 2 MP front-facing camera, 5 MP rear camera, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage space, microSD card support, and a 2500 mAh battery.

Another new smartphone that Boost Mobile is going to launch soon is the Alcatel Elevate, which should be available starting August for just $99.99. Interestingly, the Elevate runs a newer version of Android Lollipop (5.1), but the rest of its features aren't that exciting: LTE, a 4.5-inch display with 480 x 854 pixels, a quad-core 1.1 processor (possibly the Snapdragon 210), a 5 MP rear camera, 2 MP front-facing camera, and a 2000 mAh battery.
