At a press conference called by Vivo today, the company introduced the Vivo Xplay 6. The handset sports a dual-curved edge screen measuring 5.46-inches with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. Under the hood you will find a Snapdragon 820 chipset with a quad-core CPU, and the Adreno 530 GPU. 6GB of RAM is inside along with 128GB of internal storage.
The Xplay 6 does feature a dual-camera set up on back. A 12MP camera comes with a Sony IMX362 sensor, 4-axis OIS, and an aperture of f/1.7. Thanks to the rear-facing 5MP snapper, users can achieve a depth-of-field effect with the phone. A 16MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video chats. A 4080mAh battery comes with a rapid charging system. Even with such a large capacity power source, the phone measures just 5.2mm thick.
The Vivo Xplay 6 will go on sale via Vivo's retail and online channels starting on December 12th. It is priced at the equivalent of $655 USD.
