This HTC Aero concept tries to envision HTC's next Quad HD smartphone
HTC is reportedly working on a super-high-end smartphone that's expected to be launched sometime in October. Currently known as the HTC Aero, this could be the "hero" phone that HTC CEO Cher Wang talked about back in June.

According to recent rumors, the Aero will feature a Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) display of unknown size, and an advanced rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and support for RAW photography. Right now, that's all we know about the new handset, and yet someone already created an HTC Aero concept design, trying to envision what the device might look like.

Made by Hasan Kaymak, the concept presents an imaginary HTC Aero that's pretty thin, and doesn't have the massive BoomSound speakers that most of HTC's recent high-end smartphones come with. The back of the handset hasn't been rendered.

As you may know, the Aero would not be HTC's first Quad HD smartphone. The company already released the One M9+, One E9+, and One ME, all of which offer screens with 1440 x 2560 pixels. Most probably, Aero is just the codename of this upcoming HTC smartphone, so its final, official name should be different.

Looking at HTC's latest financial results, it's pretty obvious that the company does need a hero product, and it needs it as soon as possible.

Check out the HTC Aero concept below, and let us know if you'd want HTC to make a handset similar to it.
