Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 pre-orders begin in Europe; tablets ship starting on September 3rd
Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 tablets won't ship until September 3rd, you can now pre-order the slates directly from Samsung in the Netherlands. The tablets come with 8-inch and 9.7-inch Super AMOLED screens, carrying a 1536 x 2048 resolution. Both are powered by the Exynos 5433 SoC, which carries an octa-core CPU and the Mali-T760 MP6 GPU.

Both tablets feature an 8MP camera on back, and a 2.1MP snapper in front. And the Galaxy Tab S2 models both come with 3GB of RAM and 32/64GB of native storage. Users of either tablet will have the ability to access a 128GB capacity microSD slot if additional storage is required. One difference between the two variants is with the battery size. The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 is equipped with a 4000mAh battery, while a 5870mAh cell keeps the screen lit on the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 Wi-Fi model can be reserved for the equivalent of $438 USD. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 Wi-Fi version can be pre-ordered for the equivalent of $548 USD. There will be 4G LTE versions of both slates. In fact, Samsung did have a listing for the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 LTE model. But with no pricing posted, this particular tablet is not yet offered for pre-orders.
