Samsung Galaxy J2 is run through GFXBench confirming its entry-level existence
A few days ago, we told you how a Samsung branded handset with the model number SM-J200F had appeared on the Zauba website. This is a website that tracks imports and exports into or out of India. This particular model was being shipped to Sammy's Indian facilities for testing. We also told you that the SM-J200F had been seen on the IMEI database.

While not yet announced by Samsung, the SM-J200F would appear to be the Samsung Galaxy J2. This phone belongs to a series of handsets that starts with the low-end Samsung Galaxy J1, and continues with the already introduced Samsung Galaxy J5 and Samsung Galaxy J7. The latter two models each feature a front-facing LED flash. The Galaxy J2 would obviously be on the lower end of the Galaxy J spectrum.

This is confirmed by a GFXBench benchmark test that the SM-J200F has gone through. The test revealed that the handset will come to market carrying a quad-core 1.2GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM and Android 5.1.1. The Zauba listing already provided us with the 4.7-inch screen size of the phone.

At the moment, this is all we know about the Samsung Galaxy J2. Since the Galaxy J1 has already been launched and the wraps have already been removed on the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7, it shouldn't be terribly long before the Galaxy J2 sees the light of day.

Thanks for the tip!
