OnePlus One to be offered March 24th in India sans invites; new image of Oxygen OS leaks

If you are looking to buy the OnePlus One in India without needing an invitation, circle March 24th on your calendar. Starting at 10am on that date, Amazon India will be offering the 16GB and 64GB versions of the OnePlus One. The rest of the world can also buy the phone without an invite on March 24th since OnePlus offers its phones globally every Tuesday in this manner.

If you are serious about buying the OnePlus One and you live in a country that uses the unified Euro currency, this coming Tuesday might be your last chance to pick up the phone at the current rates. Because of currency market fluctuations, prices will be going up starting March 25th. The current pricing in the EU has the 16GB Silk White model costing the equivalent of $324 USD and the 64GB Sandstone Black model listed at the equivalent of $378 USD.

Returning to India, pricing in that country is not changing for the time being, although OnePlus is monitoring the situation. Amazon India is offering the 16GB and 64GB OnePlus One for the equivalent of $305 USD and $353 USD respectively. Better not dilly dally, stocks are limited.

We also wanted to tell you that a new image showing OnePlus' Oxygen OS running live on a OnePlus One handset has been leaked. The ROM is based on Android 5.0 and is expected to be released on or before March 27th. OnePlus One users will have to decide between Oxygen and Cyanogen 12S, which is also based on the Lollipop build of Android.

Thanks for the tip!
