MetroTube update improves the YouTube comments section and fixes various bugs
Because Microsoft won't give in to Google's demands to run ads on videos that would be shown on a Microsoft built Windows Phone YouTube client, those using the platform have been deprived of having an official YouTube application. This has allowed a number of third-party YouTube apps to thrive in the Windows Phone Store. One such app is MetroTube. We've been on top of the app since late November 2011 when LazyTube was re-branded to its current name.

A new update to MetroTube takes the app to version 4.6.5 in the Windows Phone Store. Among the changes, MetroTube users will see an improvement to YouTube comments support, and blurry river images are now clear. Also fixed are videos that say they are unavailable or have been deleted when they are really able to be viewed. Another improvement will allow you to view preloaded videos without a problem. Of course, minor bugs have been exterminated.

MetroTube is available from the Window Phone Store, priced at 99 cents. The update is already listed in the Store. Another option for Windows Phone viewers is the mobile YouTube site, available by pointing your browser to www.m.youtube.com.
