LG G4 Mini listed by Vodafone: Snapdragon 615 and a June release date in tow
The inevitable tinier version of the LG G4 is on the horizon, it seems, as a G4 Mini just appeared in a Vodafone database over in Hungary, listed in the carrier's "M" category there, denoting the midrange segment.

If history is any indication, corroborated by the carrier's insider sources, the phone would ship with something like a 5" 720p display, 64-bit Snapdragon 615 chipset, 2 GB of RAM, and probably a 13 MP camera on the back without any optical stabilization.

The LG G4 Mini should make a cameo some time in the beginning of the summer, they say, which is as close as next month. If it sports the same leather-clad version as its flagship sibling, the G4 Mini could have a fighting chance in the sea of Android midrangers, too.

Where have those specs come from? You just took the word of this website which pulled them out of thin air, or is there an actual source for them?

As far a mini on specs... the word mini to the average person is simply describing its form factor. Most people would not associate mini with specs.

still mini compares to its BIGGER sibling by name G4.
and the specs is Mini (lower) then its BIGGER(high) sibling(G4)
the price is also MINI( cheaper) than its BIGGER ( expensive) G4.

My thoughts exactly. I'm fed up with all these kitchen-sink-sized phones, even the "minis" are the size of microwave oven these days...

*Compact
Mini means overpriced, underspecced flagship looking small phones by Samsung, LG, HTC etc.

720p? That's pretty pathetic. It should at least be 1080p, considering that the full-sized G4's display is 1440p...

People should have no problem with the SD615 on a 720p display if they don't have a problem with the SD808 on a QHD display.

It should be interesting how many hypocrites have a problem with the SD615 on the mini and not the SD808 on the g4
