Now that Android 5.0 Lollipop is finally official, you certainly want to know when your current device will get the new version of Google’s OS. Well, if you happen to own a Motorola device, we have some answers.

Motorola confirmed that it would bring Lollipop to the following smartphones: Moto X (1st and 2nd generation), Moto G (1st and 2nd generation, plus the Moto G LTE), Moto E, Motorola Droid Ultra, Motorola Droid Maxx, and Motorola Droid Mini. The exact timing of the updates depends on Motorola’s partners (i.e. carriers), but we should hear more on this soon. In any case, it’s nice to see that even the cheap, low-end Moto E will be updated.

It makes sense for Motorola to be among the first companies to detail Lollipop upgrade plans - since it’s the manufacturer of the brand new Nexus 6 (which, of course, runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box).
