HTC One X first commercial and stress test
Share:
Sure, the HTC One X is a beast of a handset, but can it take a licking? To test how strong the device is, the flagship model was put into a dryer for one hour. According to HTC, the polycarbonate unibody is so strong and tough that a case is not required. And thanks to the use of Gorilla Glass, the screen also can take some pretty tough punishment.
Put the videos together and you see the HTC One X go from one extreme to another without any problems. What's next, shooting the device out of a cannon?

Lol I saw that dryer thing in real life today at the HTC convention. I think it was a fake plastic model since the screen was always on and rather bland.
9. remixfa posted on 31 Mar 2012, 04:03 2

am i the only one that noticed the cute chick in the reflection? :)

Yes I enjoy my fisher price HTC EVO with a removable battery and expandable memory, yup I'm so 99% ya know, I called you a troll be because you go on every article and whine about the same thing, we get it, you don't like it, none of us do either, so SHUT UP ABOUT IT, IT'S MAKING YOU LOOK CHILDISH AND ANNOYING.
And by the way the only person here who should be accused of wanting a fisher price phone is you, ios is for teens and forest gump, and I assume your not a teen.

Well, I too own the HTC Evo, so what's your point? My childish ways as you put it. Get results, you the 99% brainless fools will buy and enjoy the upcoming fisher price/barbie phone. While I'll at least will own the king of the hill iCrap iPhone of the non removable battery or expansion slots. with the best ecosystem and apple genius bar if I have any issue. You will have no one for your problems as you do now. Go see a shrink.

Wow even your insults are repetitive and boring,
Let's end this argument now....
I, a person who prefers SD cards and removable batteries, will not spend my hard earned money on anything without those two, they are standards for me, so therefore your argument that I'm part of the brainless 99% holds no merit. You, on the other hand have done nothing but make yourself look stupid, you claim to hate the lack of SD cards and removable batteries, yet you openly admit wanting an iPhone, hmmm, hypocrite anyone?
Hate to break it to ya but you are the 99% that you hate so much, and by the way giving your self a thumbs up only makes you look even more ridiculous, so I repeat, TROLL

somehow its similar to the old HTC phones.... they never try to design something iconic.... maybe ok specs but the looks are boringggg
11. bayusuputra posted on 31 Mar 2012, 06:53 3
all BMW has the same similar grill design, all porsche has the same similar headlamp design, all audi has the same similar grill and LED headlamp design, all bentley has the same similar headlamp, grill and tail lamp designs.. and yet they are iconic.. the design has changed in the One X, it may not be a drastic change, but it still retain that distinct HTC speaker grill..
when i see that speaker grill, i know it's an HTC device, the same as when i see the Spirit of Ecstasy, that i know straight away that i am looking at a Rolls Royce..
and if you wanna talk about similar design to the old models, don't Samsung and LG have more similar designs than HTC?

Well said!! I think the One series looks amazing. And okay spec?? Wow, I don't know what phone you are using but good luck comparing to One X and S. I am not saying there aren't better phone coming out in the near future with better spec that will blow One X away. However, this phone can be a beast. It's like saying an Audi isn't a great car because it is not as good as a Lamborghini. (kind of went off topic) There are people reading this right now probably say SGS3 is going to be better! I am not going to deny that fact, but every one of us has the right to choose the phone of their choice and think it's the best.
I think HTC will go far this year with the One series, if they don't be like other companies try to put up a small upgrade device every 2 months.

Still don't find their phones anymore exciting when you have better value from Samsung for the same price.
