HTC Endeavor C2 to be a higher spec'd version of the HTC One X for a UK launch in October?
same exact model heading to the fourth largest carrier in the States.
There are some rumored software changes coming with the Endeavor C2 such as ClearVoice technology for clear voice quality on calls, and "HTC Watch 2" which is the latest version of HTC's movie streaming store. While there was no word about which build of Android would be on the device, a new flagship model should have Android 4.1 on board with Sense 4.1 running on top.

nice work HTC, screw with your fans who got HOX!!
I hate such companies, no clear plan and you don't know if you get the flagship or the REAL flasgship will be announced later!

So sick of hearing people saying stuff like this. By the time this comes out, the One X will be over 6 months old. Not everyone's upgrades are on the same schedule. Some of us would rather not buy a 6+ month old phone when the time comes. If you're happy with the phone you got, then shut the hell up & stop complaining.

Furthermore, even if HTC doesn't release a better phone, another company will. Just because there's better doesn't mean what you and/or I have is inherently bad.

LTE compatibility is the reason why we aren't getting the hardware that most of the international counter parts are getting.

I'm guessing the inside structure will be about the same, if I'm daring enough, I might just buy some parts from the new version and put it into mine.

Although possible, I highly doubt they are planning on adding a removable battery or micro SD on this thing. I just hope they go for the 2GB of RAM.

Also, since this is the phone I will more than likely be getting (I'm a T-Mobile customer), I hope it doesn't come only in white like the original does. I REALLY don't want a white phone as I'm sure it would start to look like crap in no time, but it's a bullet I would probably take.

Me and you both, I cannot stand Samsung phones, but that is because I am an HTC head....always has been. Plus I don't have many options being a T-Mobile customer right now so I really hope this phone does come out soon, and with a darker color...not white like you said @g2a5b0e.

What they need to do is release a device with has a 4.7 or 5in screen that is either SLCD2 or SAMOLED+ with a resolution of 1366x768 (that is non pentile), 1.5Ghz or higher Terga 3+ or quad-core S4, LTE & HSPA+ 42, and 2GB or higher RAM. That's what I would like to see.

Don't expect too much of a departure from the original One X with this phone. They'll probably stick with SLCD2 & the resolution will still be 1280x720. 1366x768 is a resolution you're more than likely not gonna see on phones. The article already states the processor it will more than likely use, so I'm not sure why you're speculating there. 2GB of RAM is a must.

Doesn't this seem to coincide with LG's release of their quad-core Krait with 1280x768 screen? Assuming LTE remains functional on S4 Pro, the tegra 3+ is defeated in every aspect. It's rare to see HTC actually lagging in terms of pure hardware specs.

HTC should provide upgrade to the existing HTC one x 720e before launch..eg.. LTE feature are missing...
