HTC Droid Incredible receives the rooted treatment with instructions down the road
The HTC Droid Incredible has been on the market for about a month now and easily had a head start over the yet to be released HTC EVO 4G, but it's just  now that we're starting to see some headway in regards to rooting the handset. The HTC EVO 4G may have gotten rooted ahead of time partly due to the amount of units given out to attendees of Google's I/O event, but Big Red's highest-end Android smartphone has also been rooted to bring it up to the same level. However, detailed instructions for the step-by-step process have yet to be made public – luckily though, it's pegged to be made available shortly with the possibility of it landing by the end of the day. Even though there is still a shortage of units available for sale, expected owners can begin to fathom some of the endeavors and joys accompanying a rooted HTC Droid Incredible.

Thank you Paul from modaco, binny and john. PA give props when it is due... granted, the info isn't officially released and available for users yet, but people like me appreciate the work of these developers to take advantage of the capabilities of our open sourced smartphones.
