Google Now reminds you to pay your bills

Google Now reminds you to pay your bills
Google Now gives you so much information that you need before you even ask for it, that having the virtual assistant remind you to pay your bills just makes a lot of sense. If your Google Now account is connected to a Gmail account that receives messages about your accounts, once those messages come in, Google Now will prompt you to set up the reminders.

If you want to get the reminders, all you need is to do is click on "yes," and Google Now will forward you information on certain bills. The cards will show the name of the company you owe, the amount of the bill and the due date. Tap on the card and you are taken straight to the email in your Gmail account.

It is another example of what Google has in mind with Google Now, trying to keep the service proactive to differentiate it from Siri and Cortana.
