Extra-large LG G Vista arrives at AT&T on August 22 for $49 on contract
Users buying the LG G Vista will be able to get the LG G Pad 7.0 LTE (available at AT&T since this week) for just $0.99.
AT&T’s G Vista isn’t different from the model that Verizon is selling. Thus, it offers an extra-large 5.7-inch IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixels, 8 MP rear camera with laser autofocus, 1.3 MP front-facing camera, LTE, quad-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon processor, 1.5 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory, and a 3200 mAh battery. The handset runs Android 4.4 KitKat, coming with various software enhancements from LG, including Knock Code, Smart Keyboard, and Dual Windows. AT&T is offering a sneak peek at its LG G Vista in the video below:

So it's sort of a Huawei Ascend Mate2 4G competitor? Except for smaller, less battery and more expensive...

I noticed that too. Slightly less RAM than the Huawei. But it comes with the "laser" focus camera and Android 4.4. Not a bad mix. Goes to show how overpriced the G3 is though.

Hmm, this proves to me that people only care about what they see. I bet a bunch of people will get this phone simply for the big screen it offers. This reminds me of when MetroPCS launched the Samsung Mega. Nothing but a large screen entry level phone
