Android 4.2 users will flip over update to Flipboard

In the Google Play Store, there is an update for Flipboard that helps prevent accidental page flipping. Additionally, the update also exterminates some bugs that afflicted the app. But more importantly, for those with Android 4.2, it supports the Daydream feature for the OS build. Daydream is a screensaver that turns on when the phone is charging or docked. Users can choose between seeing the clock, changing colors, photos or headlines from Google Currents. While the latter might sound interesting, it is not interactive which means while headlines appear before your eyes, you cannot touch on one to open a news story. And this is where Flipboard's update comes in.
With the updated Flipboard app now supporting Daydream, you can see covers from your Cover Stories category on Flipboard turn into a screensaver with zooming and panning of images. It is more media based than the headlines from Currents and while Daydream isn't exactly the breakout feature of Android 4.2, it does become another reason to install Flipboard on your phone.
If you haven't tried Flipboard yet for iOS or Android, it is a combination RSS feed, social network, Twitter app and more, all done up in magazine style. It's a free update from the Apple App Store or from the Google Play Store.

Does having Daydream on all night while charging affect the screen in any way? Does it shorten the lifespan of my screen?
