Alcatel lifts cover off new Android flagship: 5” razor thin One Touch Idol X
The One Touch Idol X runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Alcatel’s light skin on top. The 5-inch 1080p display is protected with Dragontrail glass and is fully laminated. Under the hood, a quad-core MT6589+ chip with each of the cores clocked at up to 1.5GHz and 2GB of RAM power the device. The Idol X comes in a single and dual SIM versions and you can pick between a model with 8GB of internal storage (single SIM) and one with 16GB of internal storage (dual SIM).
The phone features a 13-megapixel auto-focus camera with LED flash that is capable of recording videos at 1080p. Up front, there is a 2-megapixel camera, great for video conferencing.
Finally, the battery on the Idol X is a 2000mAh one, not a lot by today’s standards. The Idol X release date and price have not yet been unveiled.

The phone is too big for this kind of screen size and battery capacity is pretty low compared to the other flagships. IMO

Agreed, the side bezels are very small, but the top and bottom bezels are huge.

2000mah? And who needs FullHD on a mid-range processor. If it was 720p, I might buy it!

I don't know if the processor is mid-range...MT6589+ sounds new to me.
So far i've known, there existed MT6589 and MT6589T. And i can't find any related article about the processor in the internet. Not going to praise it but want to see how it deals with pressure.
